Diego was born and raised in Pereira, Colombia. He arrived at the United States at eight years of age and very quickly became obsessed with every from Ninja Turtles and GI Joe, to Thundercats and Transformers. When he got to middle school, he discovered the magic of spending entire days at the comic shop, the arcades, and the movies in Miami.

Diego was always sort of a loner and spent lots of time home alone, so in true only-child fashion, he dove deep into Marvel comics, Star Wars, and all sorts of other fantasy worlds. They were his escape, his companions, and in many cases, his teachers. Not having grown up with his father, Diego had to experience it all on his own, feed his obsession on his own. Thus… a geek was born!

Joshua Aguirre was born in sunny Miami, FL back in 2012. He came into a world that already had YouTube, iPads, and just in time for the advent of content streaming! With a total geek for a dad, it was no surprise to anyone when “Spider-Man” was among his first words ever uttered.

Joshua’s is a kid with a hungry brain! From as early and he can remember, he loved learning and sharing what he learned. Joshua loves reading books on all sorts of subjects. But this Geekologist doesn’t only lean towards the left side of his brain, he’s a creative, to boot! Joshua loves drawing (particularly character design), building, making, and he’s been known to create his own Halloween costumes, rather than grab them off a shelf at a party store.
